Nikki

Clinical Sport & Remedial Massage Therapist

Available Times:

Wednesdays 8-14:30 | Fridays 15-21:00

What to expect

When I treat, I combine firm but comfortable massage techniques with active and passive stretching to restore healthy movement patterns. I like to involve you in your treatment, guiding you through movements and keeping the session collaborative. Sometimes that means working deeply to ease pain and improve function, and at other times it means offering a gentler, more restorative approach to help your body relax and reset. I also draw on my background as a movement professional to give practical exercise advice you can use to extend the benefits of your session.

Biography

My career began in the fitness world as a group circuits instructor and personal trainer, and I later specialised in Yoga and Pilates. My own lived experience with back pain inspired me to train as a clinical massage therapist, because I discovered how valuable massage was in supporting movement, strength, and mobility. Having experienced the benefits first-hand, I now have regular treatments myself to stay pain-free and able to enjoy the activities I love. My aim is to help my clients achieve those same results: less pain, more ease of movement, and greater freedom in their daily lives.

Fun

Outside the clinic, I love long walks with my dog and lane swimming (a hobby I only took up seriously in my 40s!). I’m also a busy “Mum-taxi” for my gymnast son and artistic swimmer daughter, and I help coach at her swim club. Together with my firefighter partner, I feel lucky to balance a busy family life with a career that allows me to help others through movement and therapy.
